NEWS: Top Selling Irish Creators Through Diamond For August

Diamond Distribution have published their top selling comics of August and in a month where the new DCU launched there was still room on the list for a number of Irish creators. On the monthly comics chart it lists 4 different creators who were represented and on the graphic novel list Ireland got one spot. Diamond once more did not publish actual numbers but instead chose to breakdown the positions by index.
The top selling Irish creator last month once more was Declan Shalvey whose Thunderbolts #161 came in at number 78.
Next up on the list was the first of two appearances for Garth Ennis. In at number 132 was The Boys #57 and twenty spots down at #152 was Butcher, Baker Candlestickmaker #2.
At number 155 is the first appearance on the list since ICN’s inception for Brendan McCarthy who work on Rocketeer Adventures #4 drops in just under Ennis’ Butcher Baker.
Stephen Thompson is next up with his work on Hellraiser #4 coming in at 184 and is this months top selling book for BOOM!
Ireland’s sole representative on the Top 100 selling graphic novels for August for a change isn’t Garth Ennis. Dark Horse’s Magnus Robot Fighter Volume 1 TPB features work by Stephen Thompson. That came in at number 99 on the list.
