EVENTS: Titancon 2011 Details

Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th of September sees Titancon 2011 take place in Belfast at the Europa Exhibition Centre. The Guest of Honour is  Ian McDonald, author of Brasyl and The Dervish House.
Titancon is intended as a Sci-Fi, Literary, Media and Gaming Convention for Belfast.
Friday is Culture Night Belfast and is free entry and Saturday is Titancon itself. The Sunday Game of Thrones coach tour has already sold out.
Full membership for Titancon is just £10.

Highlights of the Saturday include a signing session with all guests at 5pm for an hour and a panel on Sequential Art: Storyboarding, Montages and Comic Books with ICN stalwarts Andy Luke and Paddy Browne.
There is a 10am Game of Thrones Season 1 review, a Game of Thrones Season 2 look ahead at 4pm both of which feature storyboard artist and comic giant William Simpson and a 5pm Game of Thrones Extras section for those who are followers of the acclaimed George R.R. Martin creation.
Titancon co-chairs Phil Lowles Ian Lawther and their guys have put a lot of effort into making Titancon happen so your support would be greatly appreciated.

TitanCon – A science fiction and fantasy literature, media and gaming convention for Belfast Northern Ireland including panels on HBO and George RR Martin’s Game of Thrones, organised and run by GRRM fangroup the Brotherhood Without Banners, Studio NI, Northern Ireland’s largest arts and culture group, The Other Ones a Belfast science fiction and fantasy society, with gaming events run by Arkham Gaming Centre and TableTopNorth.
TitanCon is a not-for-profit convention for the fans by the fans.
