EVENTS: OCTOCON 2011 features John Higgins

Octocon, the National Irish Science Fiction Convention, is a weekend celebration of the weird and wonderful, attracting artists, writers, film-makers and fans from across the human sphere of influence.  It has been running since 1990, and has featured  Guest of Honour such as Terry Pratchett, JG Jones, Tanith Lee, Mike Carey and George R.R. Martin.

The weekend is packed to the brim of workshops, speakers and panels along with a dealers room providing an opportunity for people to sample self published work, art and books.
