It’s Tuesday and as promised here are the winners of the very first Irish Comic News Awards. After the public cast many hundreds of votes to bring us to this moment many categories went down to wire including the Best Mainstream Published Irish Writer which was decided by only one vote. That one vote was the final vote cast right on midnight last Friday and was cast by the person who ended up second. Sorry Nick!
The first inductees to the Irish Comic News Hall of Fame is the legendary Garth Ennis and in the Hall of Fame Comic section is Bob Byrne’s famed silent 2000 plus panel epic Mister Amperduke.
All our winners will receive downloadable certificates for their win.
Our congratulations go to all our winners and our sincerest thanks to all our voters.
And here’s a web badge for the winners (feel free to link to it if needs be)
