Dublin Comic Jam 4th Anniversary

Dublin Comic Jam

When the first Dublin Comic Jam was held in 2008, George W. Bush was US President, Usain Bolt had just won his first Olympic gold medal, Michael Jackson and Leslie Nielson were still alive, Jedward were just two unsuspecting private school weirdos, the Green Party was still in government, Ireland wasn’t in receipt of a bailout program from the IMF…
This Thursday, 30 September, marks the Jam’s 4th anniversary, and to celebrate they’ve reserved some space in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street, where they have nice high, less backache-inducing tables with comfortable chairs, a vast array of potent, tasty microbrews on tap, and a pretty decent food menu as well. I ate there twice when I was down for the Dublin Zine Fair, and it was good and tasty. Starts at 8pm, and they’re hoping for a good turnout.
