Getting to D.I.C.E.
D.I.C.E. is being held in the Dundrum Town Centre in South Dublin. It’s served by the green line Luas from St.Stephen’s Green and the 44, 16, 75 and 17 bus routes. For more info on how to get to The Dundrum Town Centre click here.
There’s never been a better opportunity in Ireland to have your work reviewed by editors working in the comic book industry. Here’s who we have;
CB Cebulski – Head of Talent Management Marvel Comics
Jeanine Schaeffer – Editor Marvel Comics
Lauren Sankovitch – Editor Marvel Comics
Mark Doyle – Editor DC Comics
Nate Cosby – Former Editor at Marvel Comics now freelance editor and writer
Each of the editors will be at tables around the con floor and they’ll all be at our opening MEET THE EDITORS Panel at 10:30 on Saturday morning.
All of these good folks know talent when they see it so now’s your chance.
A few pointers though;
1. Fill out the Marvel idea submission form which will be available on the day.
2.Only bring copies of your work, D.I.C.E. nor the editors reviewing your work can be responsible for the loss of your precious originals.
3. Treat any meeting with an editor as an informal business interview, we’re all there to have fun but you never know there may be the tiniest chance of a job out of it for you.
4. Take criticism both positive and negative, chances are it will make you better at what it is you love to do.
5. Finally have fun.”
