London, 15th of October 2013

Exciting times ahead at The Cross-Media Forum (15 – 18th October) as beActive will
premiere its new SCI-FI cross-media series; Collider. Held in association with the
BFI London Film Festival, the premiere will take place on the opening night at 8.45
pm at the Prince Charles Cinema. As an added bonus, Nuno Bernardo, beActive’s
founder and managing director (and Collider’s writer and producer!) will present a
case study on Collider, entitled “It All Started as a Simple Idea: Terminator Meets
Lost” at The Conference (15 Oct). Starting at 2:15 pm and held at the BFI, the talk
will show how to transform a small idea into a cross-media property and is held as
part of The Cross-Media Forum.

COLLIDER is a science-fiction cross-media series inspired by the graphic novel of
the same name created by award-winning and two-times Emmy-nominated writer-producer
Nuno Bernardo (Sofia’s Diary, Beat Girl, Final Punishment), depicting the last 24
hours of a group of six characters trapped on the CERN campus in the year 2018. They
are our last hope to avoid certain destruction of the world…

COLLIDER series include 8* 11′ Webisodes, 4-part 22′ TV Series and a 90′ feature
length cut for VoD, DVD and theatrical release. It features Iain Robertson (Basic
Instinct 2, Plunkett & Macleane, The Contractor, Band of Brothers) and Lucy Cudden
(Pulp, Judas Ghost, Afterlife) and was directed by Jason Butler (Republic of Telly,
The Rubberbandits). The series is complemented by two mobile Apps (iOS and Android),
a collection of 6 comic books, a graphic Novel (already on sale in Europe in
specialized comic book stores) and a full social media experience.

COLLIDER combines traditional sci-fi themes with an action packed story, with
elements of drama and romance. The setting is an uninhabitable, post-apocalyptic
future world, where time travel is possible and terrifying creatures wait in the
dark! In this bleak world, a lone group of survivors are humanity’s last hope for
redemption. CONTENT MEDIA is handling international sales of the different versions
and cuts of the series. COLLIDER: The Movie will open in UK and Ireland Cinemas in
January 2014.
