News: DLR Teen Graphic Novel on the RTE Player

There was a feature on the DLR Teen Graphic Novel that author Alan Early and Irish creator Alan Nolan have been facilitating in the Dun Laoghaire Lexicon on RTE Network 2 News2Day at 4.25pm yesterday. You can check it out on the RTE Player here.

The anthology book is being put together by 12 teen authors and 12 teen illustrators, and the work is fabulous and varied in style, tone and content — all the stories are based on and around Irish myths and legends, and reintroduced by a fictional, louche, EC-type narrator known as Old Laoire. Alan Nolan will be designing, lettering and (in some cases) colouring the finished article, which will be launched in September.
