Plexus campaign now live on KickStarter

The KickStarter campaign for the Limit Break Comics anthology, Plexus, launched this morning.

The anthology features three stories written by Paul Carroll, with a different artists on each story.

From the KickStarter page:

PLEXUS is a new sci-fi anthology series, taking a focus on personal lives, and the ways in which we connect with one another.

Issue One features three full-colour stories:

– GLITCH, with art by Rebecca Reynolds. Dealing with anxiety in a world of superpowers, GLITCH is about the chaos of mental illness and the struggle to fit into an ordered world.

– SHELTER, with art by Colm Griffin. Set in a fallout shelter at the end of the world, SHELTER follows a man and his daughter as they attempt to make a life in their new home, where nothing is as it seems.

– AL, with art by Steve Mardo. Part cyberpunk, part drama, AL tells the tale of Doctors Shelley Stone and Marie Branch as they attempt the Sick Day Protocol to bring the android duplicate of their late son to life.

With WorldCon coming to Dublin this year – my hometown – this is the perfect opportunity to show what Irish science fiction is capable of, and to tell meaningful stories in one of literature’s most diverse genres.

The campaign features a variety of tiers. People can pledge for just €2 for the digital anthology or €5 for a physical copy. So it’s not going to break the bank to pledge and help get this campaign funded.
