Press Release: Limit Break Comics to Launch New Sci-Fi Anthology Comic at Dublin Comic Con

Dublin based comic collective Limit Break Comics is to launch the first issue of a new ongoing sci-fi anthology comic, Plexus, at Dublin Comic Con on August 10th, 2019. Featuring stories written by Paul Carroll, with art by Rebecca Reynolds, Colm Griffin and Steve Mardo.

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in July, Plexus takes a focus on human interest stories within the context of different science fiction universes, addressing themes of anxiety, family and grief. The first issue features three stories, a superhero tale called Glitch, a monster comic named Shelter, and a 1950s vintage cyberpunk story, Al.

Plexus joins Limit Break Comics’ previous titles, MeouchLife & Death and Mixtape from Gareth Luby, Paul Carroll and Gary Moloney, and a backlist of zines and short comics across multiple genres.

Limit Break Comics is a Dublin-based comic publisher, founded on the back of a shared desire to see small press comics grow in Ireland. It is made up of Paul Carroll, Gareth Luby and Gary Moloney.
